The Red Door Pottery Studio in the historic Foreside District of Kittery, Maine located one mile from downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire complements the already existing artistic neighborhood blending a pottery workshop, gallery space and curiosity shop.

In addition to the pottery and art collection, the gallery shop at The Red Door Pottery Studio is host to an eclectic collection antiques, books, prints, cards, musical products, sports memorabilia and gifts.

An excellent collection of modern first editions includes John Updike, John Irving, Philip Roth, Anne Rice, Anthony Burgess, and others. A number of modern paperbacks are available at excellent prices.

Among the older first editions, there is a fairly complete collection of Sarah Orne Jewett, a major literary figure of particular local interest from the late 19th century. A smaller collection of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings and A.J. Cronin are available as well.

The sports collection includes signed baseballs, tickets, and player photographs, including members of the Hall of Fame, some retired numbers, and a number of well-known Red Sox heroes from the past 60 years.

A fully functional church pump organ and a century old upright piano highlight the collection of antique furniture, art, and prints. Used CDs, miscellaneous collectibles, antique furniture, used guitars, and glassware are also available at good prices.
